too lazy to write in much detail.

basically went to the bar in cairns, australia. struck out. didn't even come close really. oh well, just another night. was pretty f'n smashed up. went to the casino. bought in for $200 for $20 blackjack. was betting between $20-$40 on most hands. lost it all. got another $300. lost it all. got another $200. lost it all. now i'm down $700. i get $200 more. i said to myself this was the final one, but i think i said that with the other ones too. went on a massive rollercoaster. at one point was playing all 7 boxes at $20 a pop. made a couple $150 bets. long story short, casino closed at 5am, and I had $965. i cashed out. as i was walking out one table was dealing the last hand. i threw down $50. lost.

up $15 on the night, but probably with bank charges about even. went to mcdonalds. was craving a big mac and quarter pounder so bad. huge beat: they were only serving breakfast.

went to sleep. got woken up at 10 by the reception chic because i was meant to check out. she tapped me on my shoulder. i stirred awake. beat, brag, variance: my **** was hanging out of the hole of my boxers. guaranteed she saw it.

moved hostels. been hungover most of the day. need food but am in a poker tournament and can't leave.

agreed. i love mcd's breakfast because it is such a novelty. however, i've had it a fair bit lately due to my schedule and really wasn't feeling it this time. i also think they don't make the sausage 'n eggers in australia like they make them back home in canada or america. i can't put my finger on it, but there's a hint of dishsoap or something in it. i'm fairly used to it now, but i remember when i first got here that they tasted a little off.

as for the cairns casino there is no poker. only $20 minimum blackjack and then other crappy games. i thought about self-banning myself from there. it's probably a good idea, but i think i'm leaving cairns soon anyways and heading back towards melbourne to hit up the crown some more.
