Me: My grandparents taught me and my brother 5 card draw at the age of 5.... That was pretty much it until after I saw Rounders and really got interested.

Rounders and Moneymaker made every guy in my senior class have poker fever. Freshmen year of college(2004) i found 2+2 while googling poker strategy. A couple months later im 4 tabling .5/1 on empire with a nice rakeback deal. The next couple years were pretty awesome until uigea and getting busted/robbed at a game. Now im on broke street looking to make a return this summer.

I cracked my first pack of pokemon in 1999 and ripped a foil charizard...fast forward to 2008 = pokerz. Natural transition:

Btw, why was charizard worth so much back in the day? Pretty severe card disadvantage iirc.
