i waited in cold weather for 8 hours straight w/o a chair to sit down in (Best Buy obv)

3am .

We get there and theres only 100 people in line ( opens at 5 ) its really cold and it had rained earlier , we have some lawn chairs and set up a mini camp and start talking bs .

3'30am .

we get hungry as hell , the only thing open around the store was a del taco ,we decide who is coming with and leave some friends behind so they can save our spot we go . the lady working the night shift looked kinda crazy . i get a macho taco , nacho and a soft chicken taco with a mr pibb . im excited and i can't wait to go into the store.


3'45am.

we get back and the line has trippled , we get mean mug as we pass everyone in line to are orignial spot and start feasting . its still cold as hell . my first "fml" thoughts are setting in . dr pibb taste like ****

3'55am

its cold as hell , some how i get suckered into saving the spot while people go to the atm and the car to " get the shopping list" some random dude says he likes our set up with the chairs i look at him and say thanks and continue owning the free soccer kick free game on my phone . i think i got to like lvl 12 untill the dude starts jumping then i knew i was wasting my time . more fml thoughts are going thru my head.

4'15am

still suckered at the spot , when suddenly i hear , " the store is opening " and the line starts to move foward , i jump up and call everyone " im like omg the store , come right ****ing now , atm my asss now .fsdfsdf . at this point its the spot in line or the chairs , i decide to go with the line . i get almost all the wait to the front but its stops , i dunno i guess some idiot said somthing and the line moved , the store was not opened.


4'18am

friends meet up and i go back and look for my chairs , there untouched and no one noticed they where there . i close them up then go put them in my car . go back to the line , some lady starts handling out flyers .


4'22am

more waiting


5am

the store opens and people inline start running in , we run in and go to the electronics , both escalators are going up , no going down now ! we go up and people are allready gabbing nintendo wiis and wii fits and cds and printers and comps and everyone is going nuts

my friend grabs a 360 elite and i grab some 7inch digital frames that were a pretty sweet deal and start looking around to see if we can get anything good.

upstairs is crazy , i grab some head phones and there is no way to go down right now , so i cut thru the employees lobby and what ever they have back there and i use their stairs.

5'30am

go thru all the clothes and get the stuff im going to buy and i go by the purse section and all hell broke loose . i saw like 10 wimminez with 8 or so coach bags and other purses on each arm , i decide i will go around becuase i don't want to get elbowed and scram at .

we all split up and get what we wanted and meet up at the counter to pay for the ****. my friends xbox had like a promo that he would get a $50 dollor gift card , the ladie @ the counter doesn't know anything about it , after talking with 7 diffrent people they say its a mail in rebate and its inside the box , we open the box . no mail in rebate !!!! and we are messing the free games also , we are pissed and are like wtf !!!!!!!!! they say go up and ask that department , we go up and talk to his nice lady , she gives him the games and tells us to go to customer service.

we go down , huge line filled with complaints and layaways

after waiting like 15 minutes i decide and try my luck at hustling the greeter into talking to some one to just give us the giftcard . after pleading my case for 20 minutes she looks at me unfaded by my storie and says i need to wait in line . im tired and go back and wait inline with my friend. we start making stupid jokes untill we are next , we get the gift card and then we go out the back of the store , the loading area and realize its a 5 minute wake to the car on the other side of the parking lot , we decide to stop at the liq store and tell our friends some bs story that we had to pick it the gift card at the liq store and tell them to pick us up .

we go to jack in the box , i get it breakfast bowl i get home at like 8 and crash .

i only had like 4 hours asleep and then go up again and was just hanging out so maybe im a bit crazy.....

i eat Thanksgiving Dinner w/ family.


8:30 pm-

leave w/ my brothers to Best Buy hoping to buy some stuff (mainly a HP Pavilion computer and a 50 inch plasma tv that was advertised on the ad)


8:55 pm-

we get to Best Buy and see like 20 or so people already lined up in tents and all that crap. So we line up and wait for 5am.


10:00pm-

my feet are starting to get cold and am beggining to hate life


11pm,12pm,1am,2am-

~2:30am- We start seeing moar people showing up and the line is getting big, really big. While people were walking to line up, some white guy who was in front of the line is yelling, "Im selling my spot in front of the line, 100 bucks a pop!" Im like WTF, you ****ing peice of ****, you cant do that(i bet others were thinking the same).


3am-

still waiting; hearing this POS still trying to sell his spots. The funny thing is that he already sold 2 of his spots by this point. (he said he had 5 spots reserved) How the hell do you reserve spots for waiting in line to shop?


4am-

This bastard sells his spots and is like "OK everyone, i just sold out all my spots, good luck trying to get what you came here for." like people have been waiting for hours, they were a bit cranky and were starting to call this bastard some mean things and all he kept saying was, "you gotta hustle to make it in this world!" so he leaves and were are about 1 hour from the doors opening


4:20am-

the best buy workers come out and start passing out the tickets for the doorbuster sales. I requested a ticket for a 50 inch Panasonic plasma tv. As for the computer i wanted, it wasnt a doorbuster so i had to go find it in the store when it opened.


4:40am-

anxiously waiting to get in to the store


5:00am-

doors finally open and i go for the computer department while my brothers go to whereever they had to go. I end up getting the computer i wanted and am happy obv, but yet so tired. I decide these two items were good enough and we get home at like 7 am.


7am-3:30pm
