anyone big fans of Myon & Shane 54?! what are your favorites/ fav mixes?

i like Myon & Shane 54 in small doses, their songs have a really beautiful progression but it can feel a bit samey after a while. Not A Lot Left and Promises are two of my favourites. Their remix of Keep Your Secrets is completely different sounding and I love that too. You should check out the mix they did for Lange Intercity 100 last month, it's pretty good

I'm a pretty big fan of M&S54, the remix of A&B's "Every Little Beat of Your Heart" and BT's "A Million Stars" come to mind as one's that haven't been mentioned. Andain's "Promises" too.

many guys got caught cheating for votes, just like they cheat for likes on facebook, and cheat for followers on twitter, and buy their own songs on beatport so they make the top 100 and get more buys from others (toolroom is notoroious for this).

richie and sasha and diggers and **** couldn't give 2 ****s about this popularity contest cause everyone they care about alrdy knows they are the true pioneers and leaders of the scene and thats all that matters.

No but It's something you hear about all the time within the industry and It's not just artists / labels buying their own releases but also artists / artists management directly paying djmag (there have been leaked receipts) to ensure a good ranking in the top 100.

The bulk of the "DJ's" in the top 100 is all about dolla dolla bills. The top 100 itself is basically all about $$$ and not at all something to look at as a reference to who is actually "good". I'm not saying there are no good dj's in it at all but rather it's just more about business / $$$.

The resident advisor top 100 is more legit but the true top dj's often go unnoticed by the masses. It is what it is.

Met a cool couple last night after the Ben Gold show, the guy described Dash really nicely. He said, "You just have to accept the fact that you're going to a giant sing-a-long and throw yourself into it." Pretty fitting imo.
