Need help finding a song. Music video is with a guy he has a white face with black stars around the eye or vice versa (NOT KISS) When the stars...might be the song lyrics. Purchased the song off of itunes and it was a cd with the same song 5 different times with different remixes. The guy with the white face was strumming a guitar. Very vague I know

This. I'm not a DJ so I can't comment but this whole mixing without headphones but it does seem completely off to me if someone is mixing without headphones. Even Skrillex is using headphones now.

Just got back from Toronto as I went to Identity Festival, got perfect weather for an outdoor festival. Saw Arty, Bingo Players, Showtek, Madeon, Excision, and Nero (didn't see Prydz, sry I know that's sacrilege to say that on the Internet) and was really impressed with Excision and Nero - both sets blew me away. Danced so hard too, always fun when that happens.

As for the others - Bingo Players disappointed me big time as they felt content on playing the best of Beatport for the past year and ending with Maximal Crazy, enough said. Arty... He doesn't have any stage presence and just plays standard stuff day in and day out. Showtek was fun when they brought out their hardstyle stuff in the second half of the set. Madeon was eclectic and is always creative up there.

My next event is John O'Callaghan in Montreal, can't wait to see that guy live again, best trance DJ out there for my taste.

Another team 140 bpms DJ I'd like see is Bryan Kearney. That guy seems to know how to deliver the dance floor what it wants, or at least, what I want.

Saw Simon when he was playing a B2B set with Sean Tyas at Electric Zoo last year.....Problem was that I was a much bigger EDM noob back then and didn't appreciate the 140 bpm stuff yet and plus they were on at like 2 pm which is totally not the right time for that dark and dirty trance beats. Would be up to seeing him again though.

I do find it interesting that people who love EDM will single out a DJ for being talentless live. People that hate EDM use that same argument for why anyone would go see a DJ over a live band.

The one at the W Boston (also on Soundcloud) is pretty good too.

The main stage lineup is just flat out strange imo. Skrillex + Tiesto for one night. Guetta + Pretty Lights on another...Only A&B+ Axwell is just kind of okay.

It's a well run event though, recommended. If that vegetarian food stand is still there I'd highly recommend to order their black bean/cheese tortilla wrap. Damn that was good.

Just chilling in a pub in Stratford after the first day of Global, pretty amazing. I'll try and do a TR when I get home but I mixed it up a decent chunk, had dnb and dubstep friends with me so saw a bit of everything before settling myself into the ASOT tent at the end of the night

I was there this year. If you went, you would have cried watching this video. Had an unreal time there.
