Last weekend I was at a cousins graduation party and and my very religous aunt asked me where I was off to when I was leaving and I told her that I was meeting some friends for a movie when in reality I was going to a strip club by myself. Am I a bad person for lying to her, would you have said you were going to a strip club?

i would consider it a lie if i knew it would bother him and i didnt tell him on purpose.

I could answer "Going to a strip club" to anyone in my family and they wouldn't bat an eye...but I've spent a lifetime getting to this perfection.

I don't flat out lie to people who I'm close to including g/f's which is why I make it a point to let them know what a **** up I am up front [which frankly probably hurts my chances of getting laid non-trivially]. I will however just keep my face shut about certain things [ie the your sister/mom are hot].

But I have absolutely no qualms about lying to randoms when they pry into what I consider to be personal matters that I have no desire to share.

Lets change it to, I dont lie to people I care about, which is not many at all. FWIW I have lied, Im bad at it, mainly because I detest it. In the main I try to never ever lie as much as is humanly possible.

I have not equated sex and love - I just wanted them to answer based on a regular sex partner rather than a one time fling. If they are going to keep coming back to her for sex, why not find a girl that either doesn't mind or actually enjoys what they do?

My point is that it's just a part of you that you can't easily suppress, much like a health thing or kids or financial status - if they can't cope or don't like it, maybe that's a bad match. I talked to a guy who liked feet and he never once told his gf! If that's a major turn on for you, why would you never tell your sex partner but you'll tell random people in casual conversation? This doesn't seem rare so I thought I'd ask the guys.

Yeah, I would never behave like this guy. I enjoy talking about sex with good friends (or internet people), but my sex partner always knows best what I like or don't like.

If a guy is into something you find repugnant and and it would change your view of him - it's a bad match. You are with a lie, as you don't know him.

If he is turned on by something you would be open to or excited by, but he never tells you - you miss fully pleasing each other. Also, having a separate sex life will cause a breach and lead to resentment.

If I find out a guy I've dated a few times likes to dress up as a woman - it's not going to work out. Keep it moving. The next girl may roll with it. If they can find girls to explore with on the side, they can find partners that they trust and enjoy.
