Before you respond disagreeably with all the regurgitated TV nonsense about how powerful a puncher he was in his prime, please list the top quality fighters he has beaten.
you're a major joke.
tyson was heavyweight champ at like 20. his first like 20 wins are by k.o., 12 in first round. noone has ever come remotely close to this dominance. he had the belt--noone was out there to challenge him for it.
he spends like 3 or 4 yrs in jail afterward (for rape--major brag). what do you expect, fresh-as-daisies mike to jump back into the ring? he's 30 by the time he contends for the belt again, and obvi was never the same.
dude had major mental issues and by the time 2000 rolled around--holyfield, lewis--he was so hopped up on meds he didn't even want to fight anymore...he was talking about "just having fun" and "feeding the pidgeons on his rooftop." he was crying in interviews, talking about how sad and lonely he was.
talking ish about iron mike is sacrilegious. the man was abused so badly his entire career was a sham. and still, he's one of the best boxers we've ever seen. here's a question for you, and is just as fair to consider--from history, who could beat mike tyson in his prime?
