Okay I preface this by saying I enjoy social complexities, but rarely have the answers. I turn to you to solve a recent mystery.

Mid Life Crisis Question -

If you are at lets say age 18 enjoying in lots and lots of life's indulgences. The present looks great but the future looks bleak. I mean one's body can only take so much before breaking. You readily admit your stunting has your life span stunted. Lets say 40 seems like a reasonable max age to make it to. Do you plan for a mid life crisis coming at age 20 or do you just know 1 speed 'go".

I read the OP now, I would recommend a mid life crisis at 100 so then you can be a bicentennial type of person.

Also, although drugs are often encouraged on this forum, I would like you to know that the majority are harmful to your health and may lead to death. So, try to cutback so you can go with my 100 plan.

p.s the only people who have mid life crisis are the idiots who get married by 21 have 3 kinds by 28 and realize at 35 they have wasted their lives and panic that its too late to live.

I'm 18 and I live by the moment.. if i feel like doing something I'm going to, you gotta stop talking about it and start being about it.. as for the mid life crisis.. who knows, I don't believe in it.. ball till you fall imo, you just gotta live for today and if you're feeling sorry for yourself think about how much worse it could be and is for people in other countries.. then stfu obv

OP, you are just having a quarted life crisis. All the cool kids are doing it.

The French seem happy and keep saying "c'est la vie". However, they are always drunk from wine, so i am not sure they can't be trusted on these matters.

FWIW. I'm and I can feel a midlife crisis coming on.

I think a lot of it has to do with realizing your not getting any younger and you start to look back on your younger days thinking those are going to be the best days of your life and you start thinking about how to relive those days but know perfectly well it's not possible.

Then there's also a financial crisis which I think is a bit different then a midlife crisis.
