Yes. The Notorious B.I.G. was a much more talented lyricist than 2Pac ever was. In all seriousness, 2Pac is the most overrated artist of any genre.

Didnt know this was a lyrical discussion. Yes BIG was better lyrically. However both are considered icons of rap. No way he is overrated.

Of course 2Pac is overrated - there is always this talk about him being the undisputed heavyweight champion of the rap world. He was a decent rapper at best. Sadly (not for his estate, though), he was overglorified, particularly after his death, for no reason.

Just browse through his catalogue, you'll find out he never released a classic album, one that you can listen to from front to back without having to skip through fillers.
