I'm driving down my town's version of the hood and come to a stop light. One feral is having a conversation with another across the street. The light turns green. The feral decides to start walking across. I hit the brakes. She looks at me, but doesn't bother walking any faster. She stops when her friend tells her to wait "I come to choo!" She stands there, right in front of me, as her friend saunters across her side of the street. Finally, they walk as slow as possible back to the sidewalk.

at any given time, I can find a hudge piece of crap car, or truck, or minivan, even, that is rusted out, dented, and a general piece of ****, but it's rollin' on twenty-fos.

That, and every run down tenement has a garden of satellite dishes grafted on its side.
