Last time I had cause to look at child support issues in the US (long story) it seemed you're pretty much ****ed. I don't recall the court case citations and am too lazy to check whether any of this is still correct, but it was legit a few years back. From memory most were in California.

I find it amusing when people say that they are certain that of their partner is STD free. How do you know? Do you go with them to get tested and receive the results together? I've worked at an OB/GYN for 2 years and have only seen one couple together while being tested. idk the actual legel precidents here but it seems like if anything you were raped not her. even if she is under 21 and drunk does not mean you gave her alcohol. at any point, AT ANY POINT, when someone says NO during sex and the other party does not stop that is "date rape" considering your relationship with her. (on good terms, had sex before, everyone was happy up until this point). you probably could call the police, but idk how you would prove this. because it does not matter what actually happened(to an extent), what actually matters is what you can prove.

the chances of her getting pregnant from this one occasion are unlikely. but if she really claims to be pregnant. then take her to a DOCTOR to have a pregnancy test. if you think she will keep this baby and try nail you for 18 years of support(assuming this is actually your kid, no dna test has been done yet. prenatal dna test can be done, but is more expensive, and more dangerous to the baby/pregnancy. so more than likely they would want to wait until the baby is born to do paternity test). if you really think she is going to go the whole 9 yards with this thing and it IS YOUR kid. i would retain a lawyer. the lawyer would advise you of your best legal options. but then the question remains, will you be a father if the baby is yours? will you take on the responsibility, even though the circumstances are totally ****ed up? many more questions arise than answers at this point...
