I think liquor quality is a big factor here, but these threads are pretty stupid in general. But if we were going to lay odds, you'd have to lay far worse odds for cheap liquor than top shelf liquor.

The only way I would put up money on this is if you wrote in your will that I get my money. 3 750 ml bottles in eighteen hours is just laughable. 51 shots? Get the **** out of here, I barely believe that people thought they could do a handle in a day.

Well the number of shots is highly controversial. If you compare the amount of alcohol to the amount in American light beers, then it's about 60.

a standard shot is a measurement in every bar book ever printed, don't think it's very controversial. it's 1.5 fl. oz.

Don't try to turn this thread into another flame war about American beer.

I'm about to kill my 30 pack of Coor's Light that I bought for this weekend so I can't do that. The word "shot" varies widely from person to person though. When I'm drinking hard liquor, I usually try to keep track of how much I drank so that I don't get blackout drunk, and I measure the liquor by how many beers it would've been, if that makes sense.

Shot is 1.5 ounces every time I use it. I'm good with that.

Thread has nothing to do with shots we're dealing with a standard volume and amount of alcohol in this bet.
