I've always wanted to do this and my roommate has a cube that just sits around... I tried googling it and there's so many different ways apparently. Does anyone have a link for the method that's best for teh nooooobs?

fastest i ever solved was 1 minute 4 seconds

i solve layer per layer, learned the 2x2 method etc but never did it enough to get quicker
now i forgot the algorythms so can't solve the bottom layer anymore
