ive had this happen to me...
cept i got booked with a bunch of weed (like a HP) and 2k, but my lawyer got the case thrown out cause the cops didnt follow protocol and their search was dubbed illegal and some other things too mainly that my lawyer kicked ass.

the point is that like 18 months later i get a letter saying i can go pickup everything seized that night, they called in k9 units and ripped my car apart looking for whatever i had. i arrive and they start bring out bags filled with ****. clothes, car stuff (books, tools, etc..) an evelope with my 2k in it, my digital scale, 2 jackets i thot id lost forever, my blackberry, a sick hoodie, and they took one of my dads putters which was in the trunk.
