ok i work in a small studio with a total of six people. we have one bathroom. a couple of them are vegan/vegetarian females, which, if you dont know, are capable of wrecking some plumbing in ways that i previously thought were not possible.

anyway, i seem to be the only person who leaves the toilet lid (the LID, not the seat) up after busting a deuce. everybody else puts the lid down. now, we have an amazing air freshener:



it seriously helps about 85% to mask foul odor. we all spray it afterwards, so thats not the issue. however, while i can only assume that my coworkers are leaving the lid down to aid in keeping the funk contained, it makes it so the next person to use the toilet gets marauded by a cloud of stank. you open the lid and its like BAM!!! im really not down with it. wouldnt the overall environment be much better if the bowl were allowed to breath?
