I only knew of him from some sitcom that came on late here (at least I think it was him). The show wasn't great but the stand-up looks pretty cool.

Bernie Mac impacted your guys' lives somehow? I think his comedy just reaffirmed black stereotypes and negated their social progress. Getting rich off keeping his people down. I'm not glad he's dead, but I'm definately not sad. These threads pop up anytime anyone 'famous' dies, because the eventual OP loves to show everyone how compassionate he is, and then everyone jumps on board with their warm little comments when they shouldn't care at all, atleast not enough to post some perfunctory cliches on a message board.

Wat? Bernie Mac definitely was one of the funniest comedians out there. I dont care what color he was he always made me laugh hysterically. He will always be remembered for the laughter that he brought into the world.

Oh and by the way normal human beings experience compassion which is obviously something you lack. So if you cant post here without some compassion or respect for the dead maybe you should direct your criticisms inward instead of at those who died in the past 24 hours.
