Since I love Hellraiser movies we discussed which movie was the best/worst, why Pinhead is arguably one of the most awesome horror villians etc. etc. when suddenly this guy, about 50 years old, who sits on the other side of the coupé starts talking to us and tells us how those movies are evil and are full of satanic messages and so forth.
We didn't really want to go into a full blown discussion with him about it and we said semi-jokingly "but good almost always prevails over evil so it's all good man!" (well ofcourse not every horrormovie ends with the good side winning but w/e) and he started ranting about how we would end up in hell if we'd keep watching these sort of things and "worship demons with pins in their head". Luckily we were almost at our stop so we didn't have to put up with him for a long time but it was pretty annoying.
I'm sure this guy was not the average christian (with the "you're going to hell for this" and all) but how offensive do religious people in general find satanic/demonic imagery in movies? (Paging Passaman)
[x] Hellraiser
