Down to 500 feet...they are going to cut the live feed when it comes down in case he isn't ok or not in there at all I guess...

HOLY CRAP THIS IS HORRIBLE! That poor family, that poor kid, I hope they either find him quickly or he died quick and not in any pain or suffering. can you imagine what dropping and surviving for a 6 y.o. would be like? broken bones etc. in the woods of Co or the mountains with all sorts of animals.

I hope for his sake he was a regular watcher of "Man vs. Wild"

The 'aircraft' just landed, very softly and is covered by all sort of cops, medic help etc.

The kid was not inside, probably fallen out of it during fly.

at this point you hope he accidentally untied the balloon, hid when it flew away, and his brother made up the story...... but I don't think that is going to be the case. They very easily could be looking for his remains for a really long time (falling from such a distance and having covered miles and miles of terrain)
