don't worry, just like I have solved the Earth's paper towel problems, I have the best plan of attack for this situation:

1) send Ben Affleck, Bruce Willis, and Billy Mays into space to dig a hole on the asteroid
2) drop bomb into hole, somebody "accidentally" forgets to bring batteries for detonator
3) they play a rigged game of shortest straws, Billy Mays gets the shorted straw ldo
4) ??????????????????
5) profit!
