you're clearly going to come on way too strong

yeah def. 'drink' was just an example.

or, if you're weird about being social, maybe you'd feel more comfortable saying something like "hey a new episode of [insert favorite/interesting tv show] is on in a few, wanna catch it?"

that way you're still hanging out in a non-study environment, but don't have to worry about talking the entire time. and, it's just a tv show, it won't have a 'date' feeling that it would if you asked her to a movie.
