i have not done anything very high. they usualyl come in around 4.5-5% To get higher ABV more sugar (malt) needs to be added.
I will be doing a saison soon, which has alot of sugar. should come in around 8% or so.

I was a brewer for five years in Pa and Md. I have no questions.

If you want an easy to make hi ABV beverage, try a mead.

Boil honey and water and the fruit of your choice. Add champagne yeast. age for 3-4 months. ???? Profit.
