Villian is in the SB and is LAGGY running at 70/26/5.5 after 30+ hands.

Poker Stars $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 4 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

SB: $2.44
Hero (BB): $7.85
CO: $0.89
BTN: $0.62

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with Q A
1 fold, BTN raises to $0.04, SB raises to $0.06, Hero raises to $0.20, 1 fold, SB raises to $0.42, Hero calls $0.22

Flop: ($0.88) J 3 9 (2 players)
SB bets $0.12, Hero calls $0.12

Turn: ($1.12) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $0.28, Hero raises to $1, SB raises to $1.90 all in, Hero?

I'm kinda lost here. PF I thought he was trying to defend his SB so I figured I would make a squeeze play knock off the BTN and buy position. SB 4-bet so I called. On the flop his bet was very small so I figured I wasily had odds to call. Also, this flop could easily miss his range for 4-betting (unless he has a high PP). On the turn he again bets weak so I figure I can push him off his hand as I also picked up a GSSD and I have the Ace outs. But when he goes all in I have a feeling it's time to raise the white flag and fold.

Did I misplay? Should I have folded PF to 4-bet?

Hero folds Preflop on the 4 vet A-Q The min raise in SB I klnow the stakes are low but I am foldfing this preflop otherwise I am folding to all in.

Other option is to just push preflop if u feel ur good

Ever seen him get out of line in this fashion preflop before? Min-3bet/PS5B? That's weird.

Not sure what you're doing on the turn. If you're trying to buy the pot, your raise needs to put him all-in. If you think you're v-raising, you needed to get it in earlier in the hand.

I guess basically your decision point was after he treys pf. Either push or fold, you can get cutesy when you have a made hand, but when you have a hand that goes from a coinflip against pps to a huge dog when it misses the flop, and you would have to flop a card that's going to scare those pps, against players that you likely have little postflop FE from, don't drag it out.

At this point on the turn I Think you are commited to calling off, you are getting 4-1 or something and have anywhere from 3-10 outs to the best hand. Which is why raising isnt that great, because youll have to call if he shoves given his nature. If you wanna raise cuz he looks weak, Id do it on the flop.

PF, my thought processes would be that if hes a complete moron I can shove for value, or I can call and hope to hit and let him spaz off his stack post flop (so you need to know his post flop tendencies), if hes not LAGtardy enough for either to be profitable, I prolly just fold to his 5 bet.

i fold this preflop against this guy like never in this spot. at least see a flop in position against a maniac pls. fwiw i raise preflop for value against a crazy guy who raises 1/4 of his hands. reads on what a MR means for THIS particular play would help of course and you should be able to get them in a reasonable quick time because he's playing so many hands. For example, if he has been raising alot with junk but those raises have been bigger or just shoves and youve seen junk a few times at SD then his MR may well be what he does when he actually has a premium preflop hand.

i really dont like the turn raise. if you are going to raise then just shove it in to say FUbiatch even though he can turn over AA-KK here a fair bit probably and if he wins then just hope he doesnt leave the table cos i'd be expecting for that pot to be just a roadbump on the way to me stacking him.

fwiw i find that when im actually at the table and have been kinda paying attention that what to do in these spots becomes clearer than replying to a hand in isolation

Maybe you can minraise flop for freecard? I hate these spazzy betsizing guys.

Preflop: 20c is a good 4-bet. The next play preflop is dependent on what you've observed. If he hasn't 5-bet anyone yet, just fold and let him win this round. Either he will do it again and you'll catch him OR he really had a big hand this time.

Postflop: Those bet sizes are actually really good against the type of hand you have, in that it is confusing as hell and he can play somewhat well based on your response. I guess I'd call the flop and usually fold the turn unless you think he will stack off against a straight if the 10 comes in (I doubt it). If you're going to make a move, do it on the flop when folding to a 3bet isn't as difficult. (Or shove it on the turn)

A general concept is: The worst thing to do in a no-limit hand is put in more than half of effective stacks and then fold. Hence you should have plans that avoid that outcome.

fwiw the min 3bet, min 5bet is like QQ-AA very often. I would fold to the min 5bet

Why did you raise the turn? The turn is not a good card to raise really. If I am going to continue to play this hand its getting to the river as cheaply as possible (which I wouldn't advice to play this hand this way btw)
