camtasia has me on tilt. anyone help? camtasia has me on tilt. anyone help?

I was watching my video before I save it and all of a sudden it said it was "corrupted" now when I click back on camtasia it asked it says " a video has been detected do you want to retrieve it" I do but when I click "yes" it brings up a small box that says retrieving video. The screen just freezes and it never starts retrieving. I would ask camtasia support but since I boosted the software, somehow I don't think they would be all that helpfull.

Anyone tell me what to do?

Thanks,

Devin

ive experienced similar problems with camtasia and i just scrapped the video and made a new one. generally, if i made a vid for over 40min it would have a high likelihood of screwing up. may depend on computers specs and free space.

yeah I hear you. I have now made 4 nl videos and 3 have been corrupted. I guess making one that lasted 2 hours was just plain idiotic for a # of reasons. The one that worked I intentionally made 15mins in legth. The last one came out great but I've lost it so I will go back and try and make one more. The scary thing is I haven't even got to the producing it part and hosting the bitch somewhere. At this point NL will be dead again by the time I finish.

I have this problem when I make a vid > 1 hour. If you wait long enough, it will finish creating the video(and it will work), but it will be disproportionately large(a 55 minute video might take up 400 mb and then a 1:15 video 1.2 gb).
