Entries closed. I'll have the spreadsheet up tomorrow.

Everyone chose Drew (the favorite according to the bookies), even the randoms.

Here was your rand().

Three of the 4 favorites and the group most likely to get eliminated first.

Marcus Canty 12/1
Stacy Francis 15/1
The Stereo Hoggzz 20/1
Lakoda Rayne 30/1
Intensity 35/1
LeRoy Bell 40/1

I have to look them over some more their could be some value potentially with Josh, Astro, Chris, and Rachel. While I think Drew and Melanie are deserving based on talent I'm never putting money into a girl again except Rachel's youth and personality might get her just a little value imo at 9/1.

I don't understand Josh krajcik's popularity. He reminds me of Casey from this last season of American idol, only without the extensive classical music background that Casey had, and look what happened to him. 6th place. :/

I have two of them and Drew. Maybe random won't be so bad after all.

Haven't paid attention to how the voting is done (havent watched dvr from last night)
If America votes, Intensity has a poopload of peeps from around the country...do you think that will affect the voting and their longevity?

its more of a liability than an asset imo

With an individual, you can make an emotional attachment for them. You learn more about that individual and can connect with them personally. these shows are usually pretty good about putting up their backstory and creating a whole picture.

But with a large group, its just random faces in the crowd and its easy to forget about them or de-personalize them. And I think that this lack of any kind of personal attachment pretty much ruins their chances.

The extra couple hundred/thousand votes they get from their friends and family pales compared to the millions who have no personal stake in them.

Remember that you get bonus points for picking the first artist eliminated.

The spreadsheet is up.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...lY2N0dxWDFDZ1E

necro takes the early lead with his genius pick of InTENSITY getting him 27 bonus points.

Interesting tidbits.

At least 2 sets of identical entries. I guess this is more likely when picking 4 finalists instead of 6. But I thought it better to be picking 4 of 12 rather than 6 of 12.

The identical entries are me and toedder; Shug and InsureMePlz

I mentioned this earlier, but everyone picked Drew, making her a complete non-factor in our competition. Whether she gets eliminated next week or she wins outright, we all get the same number of points from her.

Tied for second in number of times picked are Astro and Josh Krajcik, with 9 each. Followed by Melanie and Rachel, with 8 each.

No one picked Stereo Hogzz.

It only took me 3 weeks to notice!

Fixed! Spreadsheet is updated, but it will be uneventful until one of the faves gets eliminated.
