You vote at the start of almost every game. Saying it's villagery for you is not true at all.

slight wolf lean on tappokone for his first post, far too planned out for my liking. he is taking the game super serious so far...a bit too serious. i'll read his prior games before making any sort of definitive read.

wolf lean on shipitup, who is very calculated with his posts so far and not at all free flowing. his sentences are all parsed perfectly.

Now this is a sponge first of all, its a soft push second of all....but I think its also potentially shroop where he had something like "it was weird for me too" and then was editing it around to get it perfect and ended up with that.

Even taking out the shroop (a bit of a mythical beast), that post reads like a wolf early game observation.

This is the post that got my attention.

I feel like the tone is preaching (wow this is extremly thin) and its directed towards everyone, and agreeing with him (but i think i see where you are coming from). This mixture is something i think is wolf prone.

Just to clarify because he does vote early a lot, it's the way kope votes someone that makes it villagery or wolfy. If it's just a lighthearted joke vote and you can tell it is it's slightly villa for him, if it's an early vote that seems serious and is as bad as the vote he put on Steve he's usually a wolf.

I've played about 15 games with kope give or take, and I can only remember a reference to detective once, and that was in the anniversary game where he was a villager (if i recall correctly) and was in fact quite obsessed with a detective team

i also believe him that he is on a phone, and i think a wolf there makes a more concerted effort to explain their vote

Yes. Looking at his start, everything seems neutral-to-wolfy to me.

a) Steve asks me factual questions. I give factual answers. We move on.

b) Steve gets concerned that we are the only two people posting something like 15 minutes into the game. It's too early for that.

c) Larue shares a mistaken read. Steve replies with non-committal words of encouragement.

It might be helpful if you could verbalize your tone read on him.

Lol at your reasons for voting me. When do I ever not have well constructed posts in either role? And when do you ever see anyone open with their recently played games like ever? I hadn't before and that's why I said it was strange, I'm not soft pushing at all. If I was soft pushing I would of agreed that it was wolfy but I'm doing quite the opposite and saying that it's not, it just stuck out as a weird way to start the game that's all.

Domer needs to play catch up IMO. Made the same thin read that SIU and I both did.

I think i've done it once, although that was before I knew there was a term for it.

but don't miscontrue please....shroop isn't really the main motivator in finding that post wolfy, I didn't even notice it until I read the post a 2nd time.

Usually we have opposite reads when we were v/v so that's not unusual to me. What's unusual to me so far is how bad your reasoning is. Usually I can at least see were your coming from but this game your reasons for giving leans just seem awful.

first of all, its not a thin read. the opening was unlike anything I've ever seen.

second of all, if 3 people make the same read, its also not a thin read anymore.

I don't know about Steve, but it doesn't read as wolf-wolf to me. Domer's reasoning is idiosyncratic and even he points out as much. If it was wolf-wolf, I would expect Domer to want to avoid drawing attention like that. Wolf-villager or villager-whatever work better for me.

While I'm at it, I hate that "kind of". Why put "kind of" there, other than to fish for the answer you want?
