I do not have the time and energy to do both.

Also, I haven't played in 3 years and surely the game has passed me big time. I don't want to suck.

Case in point, most players have let go of this as a source of shame

I don't think that's a new phenomenon

Nonsense. Obviously the old days were better than now. If we can't rely on that as a truism, how are we supposed to maintain our rage at the modern era?

I've had a few binges this year of trying to recruit players from elsewhere in 2+2 and trying to revitalize games and sadly we just don't have the playerbase we once had. Even monthly Mashes would be lucky to get 40 players (exception huge meta games) so I think that's just where we're at these days.

I don't know how many people are like me but I have no real interest in playing games with <20 people or vanilla+ setups but would pretty much always signup for a mishmash with 45+ people.

Well apparently, there are less than 45 of you remaining on POG

I was obviously disappointed that I only managed to bring 78 people for this year's Anniversary, after last year's 122.

I can only say that I will keep trying to run games until I either don't fill or run out of ideas. I feel that we still have a bit of life.

I am currently in the early stages of designing a 36 player Mish-Mash (it would run this winter).

You should sign up, it will be very mechanics heavy.

I want more OUAT games running

These are way more easy to fill and are still quite mishmashy

Stuck!!! You didn't at least rail one of the Once Upon a Time games???!

Once Upon a Time in POG
Once Upon a Dark Knight
Once Upon a Time in Pogwarts

Glance at the setup and you will see that it has infinite variability and very high replay value.

Oh yea I remember reading some of those setups. Incredibly well thought out and thorough and I love the variance, it's exactly the kind of setups I like designing/running. I would absolutely try and run some like those although I can see it requires 24/7 modding which I don't always have with my work schedule

Stuck,

I played in the first and modded the last two. I would co-mod with you.

Ok, when I find myself with some time I'll start jotting some ideas down

Ouat games were pretty stellar both times I played.

Can someone link me to the (old) game where Chips Ahoy pocketed the wolves at f5 (3v-2w) - and crushed? for clarity: iirc it was 3-2 must lynch.

I've previously read the game - my folk/fake memory is that Capt Binkles, at some point, linked to it, but i can't guarantee that - but my search skillz are too pathetic to make the dbase cough the game up.

Any help welcome.

Marvel v Capcom ?

alternatively if "pocketed the wolves" was an oddly phrased way of saying "was a wolf" (I don't imagine it was, but I found both of these looking for the other one so might as well cover bases), Metric or SE MegaElite Crossover?

I'll play basically any UD game and I'll play OUAT games

After MtG4 I will be considering running another all-vig game. Theme will be the Wire. It will be easy to mod - almost vanilla - during the day and a slaughter during the night. Will need EOD co-mod.

It's Marvel vs Capcom.

Still the best village performance I have ever seen
