I literally have no idea how people struggle with the veracity of claims. I think I can count on one hand an instance where I was wrong after my immediate reaction. Beyond that it's not difficult, if the player keeps participating they tend to be Villagers if they don't they aren't and it doesn't get much more complicated. The worst thing you can do is keep discussing the claim (I mean beyond the stage where it passes the sniff test) . Instances where the behaviors were different than expected are super rare.

It is kind of amazing how often the fake claim itself from a wolf can immediately be dispelled. What seems more important to me is how to teach people when and how to fake as a wolf. Villagers spending so much time discussing claims is so anti village I'm kind of amazed the frequency at which that becomes the sole topic of the thread. You will not defeat a well-thought-out claim with any kind of claim discussion - it just so happens that most of them are fraught with holes. With actual good claims you can only win by playing werewolf.

I disagree. You for one are very good at blending in with the crowd when it comes to reacting to something (almost *too* good ) but for the most part legit reads can be made in those spots.

The most annoying thing is that it's usually the most vehement proponents of "lynching outside the claim" who also frequently claim seer as villager, thus both giving wolves claim cover and incurring substantial risk of getting the seer lynched instead of themselves.

To be fair the shot wasn't going to be resolved without redirection 95%+ of the time.

We've had village vigs shoot seer peeked villagers because they were mad at them. This doesn't even hit the radar of bad.
