Came out in the spring. Was decently popular.

But before the show, what did I know of the man
- mid 1900s era
- aviator
- had a baby kidnapped

Nothing else.

But why clue him? Seems like a weird person to clue for unless there's some infamy going on. I might be closer to 10 than 9.

lindbergh was famous for being the first man to fly across the atlantic, or to fly some distance. it was a huge deal at the time, and he was maybe the most famous man in the world for a minute. nowadays people don't really know about him

he was infamous(i guess) for having his infant kidnapped

iirc he was some sort of racist or some kind of political socail asshat, but i don't think that was very well known.

It's kinda weird, because I wouldn't describe Lindbergh himself as infamous at all, but the kidnapping case is probably what he is most remembered for these days, so clearly that should be pretty heavily factored into the clue.

But I think we have to go lower here, and watch them flip over 10 as the correct number.

I don't think Lindbergh is ever on the infamous side IMO. Not high on famous side, but definitely higher than 9 I think.

Cliffs on Lindbergh (I thought more ppl would know him):

- he was probably top 5 most famous person in the world in aftermath of solo transatlantic flight thru kidnapping of his baby which was like the event of the 1930s in America

- he was definitely an anti semite and most likely a nazi was basically the leading voice in America against them joining WW2

- years and years after he died on Maui it was discovered he had a bunch of secret children with different women
