wolves played less bad than the village. that's really all you need to do to qualify as a good wolf these days.

the fact that a villager hardclaimed and got the seer cfd and the seers peek looked like jim and it still came down to the wire that if vm made theright vote then we probably could have won, i wouldn't say the wolves played great

back on topic, alrightyroo is complaining in the pub that this thread shouldnt exist, so i expect it to be closed soon. so if people really want to talk constructively about this, now is the time

Not in its current form at least imo. Point is threads like this probably shouldn't be started without mod approval or we could have a repeat of BAIDS/magicjizz/lolsystoing (threads like this more often lead to bad than good)

Starting a thread about a fairly broad topic based on two fairly similar examples and expecting to get something useful out of it is fairly optimistic I think.

The wolves played "well" in the sense that they did exactly what they needed to, which was not **** up. Jim was villagery, xnerd wasn't- but that doesn't even matter because the village gave the game away.

Mets, the way I see it... wolves were both lead wagons on Day 1, we recovered from that and wagoned Felix which made him claim seer falsely. Villagers lynched their own seer, I didn't even vote. We correctly found the peek and killed her but you still cleared Jim the next day. Villagers led the lynch on Felix, and then we lynched a strong player (you) who claims to be a difficult mislynch for the sweep, never once becoming wagons again since day 1. Sure you guys made it easier on us, but its not like we did nothing.

IMO if somebody could datamine all of the villager FPS attempts + outcomes over the past year that would be amazing. It sounds like a lot of work to me though, so it might be easier to just keep a running tally going forward.

well in a sense specific kinds of FPS are "tactics" but I don't the semantics of calling it a strategy discussion are too confusing

These pop up from time to time.

While we're semi on the subject, 2 things that people need to recognize and realize.

1) You don't always need to lynch outside claims. A lot of times it's OK to lynch a seer claim with no cc, even.
2) It's OK to lynch afks

RECOGNIZE AND REALIZE!!!!
