Yeah it keeps dying and I haven't been near a computer very often in the past two weeks. Hopefully sometime soon I'll get a chance to clean it up.

we got beaten by Meg who connected 2x2s in the first 4 racks - which is a bad play, but it was the correct play.

The good news is that I made 1470 rating. I'm not sure if I have ever been that high. 5 consecutive times in top 5, I run g00t.

Lol, that would piss me off so much.

I'm also swinging back up, been downswinging recently with my winrate as well as rating. If I win today (which is likely but not certain) it'll only be my third win this month, pushing me just back over the 12% line.

Or more pertinently, my second win in 28 days.

Just finished playing 4.5 hours straight of Timed with TH and Alex, and later on Popcorn and dogfloss too. Feel like my head is melting.

Lol, the internet is so weird, I'd sorta just assumed everyone was in their twenties or maybe late teens. Guess not! TH was already Invincible when we started, Alex ran terribly though, I gained two points and TH gained one.

Woke up and it's late, but still really tired and groggy. Opened my computer to force myself up. Played the DC while my head is not straight and my vision is still blury.

I swear you have by far the swingiest rating; every week it bounces from 1460 to 1470 and back again.

Took a point off TH in Timed to get a new highest rating and had a great DC. [x] Good TC day.

I've just been thinking about my targets for the game and wondered what everyone else's were. Cos these are the reasons we keep playing, but obviously everyone's are different. I'm just interested in what keeps people playing. Mine are:

Near future:

Get my combined ranking (currently 1589 + 1465 = 3054) above krohn's so I have the second-highest combined ranking.
Get to 4th in the Timed ranking.
Get to 3rd in the Daily ranking.
Maintain the highest Daily winrate, and preferably get it above 12.5% (1/8).

Sometime in the distant future:

Get my combined ranking to within 50 of TH's
Get to Timed Expert and second in the ranking.
Top the Daily ranking.
Top the number of Daily wins.
Keep the highest Daily winrate.

I don't really care about highscores or Advanced at all, except that it might be nice if I lucked into one while playing Timed or Daily.

Leading the DC again

I mostly just want to maintain an orange rating. I've hit orange 5 times now and never even got to 1451. Getting an all orange normal top 10 and overtaking zac and mrgibson in daily wins would be cool.

I'm a bit weirded about today's challenge. I thought that I was going to win as a result of what was in hindsight a demonstrable error, but then Th10 has matched my score, so maybe it wasn't an error?

Actually, scratch that. I think it's possible to score the same without making the mistake
