I don't fake meta stuff. I do occasionally fake anger, which is a bit different.

I was really upset yesterday, a ton of it involving irl stuff but a lot also having to do with how the game was going. I genuinely believed I would be lynched regardless what I did — not that I couldn't clear myself in the abstract, but because I didn't have anything good to point to nor any brilliant insights.

I had my coffee, settled myself, and got back to it.

Could I fake that? Yes. Would I? Actually some of it wouldn't have been faked — if I were a wolf who thought he was dead, I'd have felt about the same way. I think I'd have reacted somewhat differently because I'd have had the opportunity to leave some false leads itt and also because the wolf team didn't look to be doing badly, even if wolf-me were a guaranteed lynch, but it's possible.

I haven't re-read it since he died but what I recalled was him being really beligerent about people voting him and basically yelling and screaming when he got heat, and people backing off of him because of that

if you're villa, I'd prefer that, as has been said, this not be a distraction to the village. i'm acknowledging that this is counter-productive and not pro-village.

This makes no sense. When you fake peek someone (village, I presume), and someone else dies that night, this is at least some evidence that you were wrong, not right.

This is a really strange sequence from this morning. It started with TL implying BBB had only one real read (which is what it has felt like to me a lot of the time, fwiw). Notice how chris gives a second wolf read in his response:
But in the ensuing conversation, not only does TL appear not to realize that, but chris doesn't even point it out:
How could TL miss or ignore that... and even stranger, how could chris miss or decline three opportunities to destroy TL's argument by pointing to his other wolf suspect — her?

But that isn't blinders (which is what you called it), that's having had him as a village read. You're saying that you can't read him objectively now because you had a strong read on him before.


I haven't called her wolfy since yesterday morning; since then I have her in the more-villager-than-wolf, but I don't know what the hell she;s doing a lot of the time category. I also believe — and have said out loud — that I probably shouldn't be reading her at all, as I'm bad at it under normal circumstances and considerably hampered here. So I point out her inconsistencies and question her... but I still haven't concluded she's a wolf.

Given that i don't have her as a wolf, I don't have a problem voting with her.

Ceteris paribus I would prefer to be voting with my clearest villagers (which TL is not), but all things rarely are equal.

This game is five pairs of two for me right now.

Two I don't know - karnel & chris.

Two I'm not in the same universe with - WN & atak.

Two I've v/v'ed with in the past but am weirding out - BBB & wahoo.

Two who seem to "get" me in this game, at least a bit - elliot & legend.

Two who I've spent more time with in other (endurance, etc) threads than WW - TL & derwi.

Blind spots in all of them.

I think it was pyro who took some heat for saying the night kill was weird.

Well, it was.

It was a bit hard to figure out where Andy was, but at the end he was pretty clear that, even while he was voting birdman, he wanted to go after wn or TimeLady tomorrow. The feel I get from his posts is that it would have been TimeLady.

But if the kill was to protect TL, then they had both wahoo and derwi actually voting TL, and each of those two is considered far clearer than Andy was or was likely to be. Even if one of those two is a wolf (extremely doubtful imo), the other has to die at some point if TL is also a wolf (I'm assuming odds both wahoo and derwi are wolves are zero).

Note the same argument works if they want to do a setup kill to implicate TL.. There were clearer players they could have chosen to have that effect, and it's almost certain that at least one of those players is a villager.

If it was to protect wn, not TL, they had Elliot/karnel/pyro to choose from. I think the odds that wn/pyro are w/w are vanishingly small; Elliot/wn could be I suppose. This seems a more likely possibility because there's no one on that list who is considered totally clear by most players, but still, with Andy almost certain to continue to be under suspicion it seems wrong.

I suppose this means there are some assumptions here that are wrong, but I sure don't see an easy explanation.

did birdman flipping villager convince you of that? Because otherwise if you thought so at all yesterday voting birdman with both of them seems terrible
