Watership down?!!?!?!
The Silmarilion being in there over the Hobbit says something about the list. I don't know what though
Here's what remains of my list. I knew about Stephenson, but didn't think he would make the list. As for 2001, while I figured it was on the list, I didn't take it because it was a novelization of a movie. And Watership Down?? When others were rejected for bad reasons?

With respect to fantasy, it is hard to judge what was acceptable to the compilers.
Most of what I have up there is from memories of previous lists, significant books, and ones I think should be on the list.
Congrats, Bolt. Well played, Doctor Zeus. Thanks again, eb.
Only one I could have got there from the TV was the queen's gambit. When derwi's mandalorian struck out I decided against it (thinking new stuff wasn't likely to be on the list)

I'm kicking my self over Money Heist. So good
I'm pleasantly surprised about the addition of This Is England. Regional tv of great quality aint that easy to find
BoJack was my next guess if I survived, but I wasn't ever getting most of the ones left. I had Succession, but thought it might be a bit too new, and I totally blanked on Dark. Money Heist crossed my mind, but it's really not a good show.
And for a BBC list with a lot of random garbage that like 6 people have seen, and aren't even that good anyway, how on earth is Peaky Blinders not on there???
