Gulliver's travels is a fantasy book.

Maybe its just not considered that good. I enjoyed it

I suspect that Gulliver's Travels might be viewed generally as almost mainstream.

It does indeed make the list at #41.

I'm guessing that it is off the list because of the young adult rule.

Strike two for you.

You may guess for Round 19.

I don't know how you properly rate something like this against stuff like Chernobyl and Fleabag.

It's on the list at #73, which just seems silly. It would have been better if they omitted nature documentaries entirely.

73 is too low.

It was such an eye opener of a series and so well made.

I think the last 10m where they talk about how they made the show was my fave bit of some episodes. The stuff with the whales was amazing

Right?

It's why I said they just should have said it was ineligible. It's too different from all the other highly rated stuff.

Putting it behind the goddamn Big Bang Theory is just insulting.

I have not read the book in Polish or English, and I have not seen the movie of the same name, but Solaris has been on every list I have seen in the last 40 years.

I guess things like band of brothers and chernobyl are kinda similar but still. There's a whole vein of difference

Oh. Being a BBC list there's probably a bunch of shows I've never seen or heard of, but I remembered an obvious one.

The Americans

Obvious indeed. For the first time in a long time, a top 10 is revealed.

It's #8.

I guess this will be the first time in 40 years, then.

Hell of a run, but it ends here.

Eric gets the bronze medal. Thanks for playing.
