I told you I have no idea who submitted a song when judging. So whose fault is this really? Mine for not giving bias to the 'Walrus Legends', or yours for not picking good songs?

Better luck in future categories

I'd have probably given refused and pantera the top two spots here. That Godsmack tune is pretty good too. Lol Spandau Ballet.

I can see justification for those two entries - but I'm just not the kind of person who gets pumped up listening to super heavy metal. I would say Metallica is the most amount of metal I can take. I think people should be able to deduce that from my Bio since I'm all about classic rock and alternative rock.

Question 2: A song to listen to while running

Next category reveal coming up soon

How I scored this: I didn't actually go for a run, but I used to listen to playlists all the time during track practices and cross country training in highschool, so I'm looking for songs that would keep me pumped and entertained. For this category songs can be out of my comfort zone to do well, as long as they meet that criteria

What would have crushed:

Let's get it started - Black Eyed Peas
Hey Ya! - Outkast
Anything by Van Halen

Hence the 'out of my comfort zone' tunes are likely to do well here, assuming they're still catchy tunes

What in the sweet Jesus is this? If this was a joke entry, not funny. If it was serious, wow.

Ya I can’t run to this – I honestly have no clue what this is. Some people may like this stuff but not me.

Not sure trumpets are the way to pump up a runner. Gave it a chance but it never really got better. Kind of depressing and I feel like I need to be having a life crisis flashback in a late 90s movie while I listen to it.

The Chase
by Giorgio Moroder

submitted by thebigeasy59

Clever title. Waited 60 seconds for anything to happen. Basically all we have is a simple drum beat the entire song. Doesn’t do anything for me. I would be waiting for the song to be over if it was on my running list.

Because We Can

This song is just weird for me. Decent beats but sounds like I should be at a dance club on a beach in Aruba. Wouldn’t be on my running list.

Believe

I can see doing some cross country to this song, although it gets progressively stranger at certain points. Starts off pretty catchy but they throw in lots of random elements that might distract me while running.

Narama (Jurgen Vries Mix)
by DT8 Project feat. Mory Kante

submitted by Telcontar

Beats like this are good to run to, but the whole song is the same thing, and nothing changes. Brings an element of boredom into an activity where music should keep you entertained as well as focused.
