Three rounds ago, I had a list of 28. Now it's down to 17, and I'm only confident in about half of them. You guys need to stop shortening my list.

I don't have a list. So far have been picking players who I know for sure have 2000 hits under their belt..

I think as this goes deeper it will be

-think of a team
-mentally go through each fielding position (and DH in AL) on that team and think who was best all-time for that position..(in some cases there are multiple stars at the same position over different eras)
-did they hit for average and have a long career?
-how strong do I feel they are a lock for 2000

rinse and repeat until I run dry.. then guess more real old timey names..and hope.. lol

I'm running out of names, only got into baseball a couple years ago from watching the Astros win the World Series and I don't think any current Astros players have 2,000 hits lol
