This song was the ***** when I worked as a guide in Tunisia.
I've spent several nights on the dance floor to this one and then getting up the next morning doing a tour to the desert, Star Wars locations and Carthage.

Nice. I can relate more now. I feel like every song is gonna improve if there is a story attached, including the good ones

I don't really have cool stories but LFC was my comedown song if that helps. It's soundtracked quite a few sunrises.

Duckburg in bizarre and improbable posting incident - probably a villager, but not quite unfathomable enough to lock that in.

Little Fluffy Clouds and A New England? Suggest Monkey Bananadrama tags out and just submits collective efforts from TheRealMonkeyBananarama from now

"Can I Kick It" simply brings me back to college hanging out with friends.

It's in the spirit of the thing to please the mod of the walrus if you can, bro.

Here goes. I like every submission so scoring will be very unfair, i am sorry. I would randomize it or split the points evenly among all 9 if i could. Thanks all.

LYRIC CATEGORY; A SONG THAT GREW ON YOU WHEN YOU READ THE LYRICS/ AND OR GRASPED THE SONGS MESSAGE.

In 9th place, scoring 1 point.

Spoiler:
Gadarene with Camille - Ta Douleur

Spoiler:
Damn it, Google Translate not getting the job done. It sounds good though. Gotta assume it's about love, love, love.

Spoiler:
tappokone with Grauzone - Der Weg Zu Zweit

Spoiler:
Good song. Singer sounds destroyed lol. Very poetic though. Solid pick. Can easily see how this grew on you.

Spoiler:
Very good. You can hear the poignancy and power in this one even if it's not in English. Translation reveals a politically themed song
The march/protest-vibe i get from the sound alone is more than good enough for me. I'm glad looking up the lyrics made you like the song even more.

In 6th place, scoring 4 points.

Spoiler:
This one tells a pretty depressing story. Lyrics are not compelling to me. (personal preference, nothing wrong here)
"Why did we live so long?"
Very good song but not for anything but feeling sad to.

Spoiler:
Colin hands us;
Quote:
"I shook the hand of time and I knew that if I lived 'till I could no longer climb my stairs
I just don't think I'll ever get over you"
Which pretty much sums the song up. Unrequited love basically. Cool, not relating that much personally but it's a well made piece and a sound pick.
Wonder how many post break-up broken hearts have suffered to this.

Spoiler:
Jabonator with Bat For Lashes - Laura

Spoiler:
Lyrics don't reveal much which i consider a good thing for this category. Only Natasha Khan knows probably.
If you dug into them i imagine you could still infer a lot though as to what the song is trying to say.
Unfortunately i don't really have the time.
Nice excerpt: "You’re the train that crashed my heart
You’re the glitter in the dark, oh, Laura"

Ooh what a beautiful message. Just the right combination of idealism/pragmatic ACTUAL RISING UP!!! GO POOR PEOPLE.
Great pick man.

Spoiler:
Monkey Banana with The Jam - That's Entertainment

Spoiler:
Superb pick. Elite. Pretty well concealed satire, sarcasm, mockery of society. Good song that grows a lot when you
read the lyrics. They are easy to make out and maybe you can grasp the message pretty instantaneously but i think
concious rational analysis is needed for the average listener, so gz perfect category fit.

Spoiler:
DonkDonkDonkDonk with Lady Lamb - Crane Your Neck

Spoiler:
Crane Your Neck is about doing it. Very nice. Best song of the category and a very good pick that meets all criteria i must say, cause you can't tell what the subject of the song is at all merely by listening to the vocals and instruments. This is like when someone is nodding their head while screaming no. Mmmmm it gets me fired up
