U5 - U-boat

On first pass, which feels pretty okay to me. Now to find out what you’re thinking and how I’m way off haha.

Good clue

Airplane opposite seems like a strange clue but it worked well

So what do we think about allowing clues like u-571

I’m fine with it; has to start with a letter and be one “word” like u-571 or a24

Good job. My a5 was Abyss btw.

Using numbers seems fine...no different than codenames. One thing I do think we should try to avoid is just naming a bunch of possible clues for letters that we'll never get to. I think it makes the game a bit too easy.

The number thing is really not gonna come up much at all when you have to start with a letter anyway, so seems like a non-issue.

I think a limit on how many clues we mention makes sense but not on which cards

Also, I think if the word is in the easy range, we should just give less hints and if it’s really hard, like pencil sharpener, then we should be more liberal with mentioning options

It’s gonna range from super easy to super hard depending on the word and the cards available

I think it's completely unnecessary for us to be giving clues like "I have a great T5 clue that gets set up by an S9 clue."

Yeah but remember there is no word list here; being able to say b6 gets it is a great confirmer to help them get the right word

I don’t think we want to lose that; but should mostly tone down the number of clues we throw out there to keep it more in moderation

But without things like b6 or some other hints it woulda taken more for some of those 1 shots

It’s def not against the rules how we’ve done but I get that we are pretty good at these games so should do some stuff to make it tougher
