This has been discussed at length in other games. When there is reasonable inference as to what someone is answering, grouping is easier.
For example: "Name a general"
Answers: "Washington," "George Washington," "General Washington"
Those are clear groups. The most famous Washington can be inferred from the answers.
Example: "Name a fun place to go"
Answers: "Disneyland," "Disney World," "Disney"
Because there are multiple Disney parks of similar fame, I cannot just group "Disney" with whichever one I feel like.
Disagree with it if you'd like, but the ruling stands and I believe it to be correct. I cannot just group it with the lower-scoring answer. That's not fair to the other players.
