I thought the first 40 seconds of this song were really interesting and then the song kinda headed in the opposite direction I wanted it to - as in becoming something more standard than fluid. Overall, it was okay.
I do like the various dreamy elements of this song - the vocalising parts and those reverberating organ notes that show up sparingly. I really like the bassline for this too for some reason. That chorus though... Surely you can do better than lalala. Bleh.
First, I loved the opening - just had to mention that. And contralto vocals! I think they sound wonderful here and make the song come across as grandiose (in a good way) during the louder parts.
This sounds like as if some little lonely and shy boy has nothing special going on in his life but in his dreams he lets his imagination run wild and it's beautiful and adventurous and i cri evrytiem... Love the section that starts at 2:30.
Interesting sounds. The song is fun and quirky and I'm still sitting here wondering what the hell that 'something' they're up to is. Some sick synth in here and when the guitar shows up is definitely my favorite. So it's coital breaths this time, but I'll let it slide.
