There was a pretty long clarification in the original thread.

this is EXTREMELY clear and not vague at all

if the usga list does not list titlist as a manufacturer, then titlist is a wrong question

PERIOD

Just like Bangladesh!

IMO, if Bangladesh is wrong, then so is Titleist!

However, when I read past the first couple of pages of the USGA list, it became apparent that not every company used their company name for a brand, so for example Louisville Slugger wasn't manufactured by Louisville Slugger, but Kentucky Wood Works, Inc, which obviously would have screwed everyone over. So, I'm just using my judgement for that question, and I'm only using the USGA list so people don't try and angle shoot by naming some custom golf ball company that no one has ever heard of.

this is pretty obvious. reference to a specific list is unambiguous.

EDIT: So are dudd's clarifications in the question thread.

Until I saw the above clarification, I was thinking to myself "I wonder how many people know Achusnet makes Titlelist?"

Pinnacles are made by Achusnet as well as Titlelists, they should be combined.

manufacturer = achusnet
brand = titlist
line = NXT
model = NXT Extreme

you wanted brand but you asked for manufacturer

Until question 10, this was the best I've ever done in a reverse sheep. Too bad my score for the last 3 questions will nearly match the first 9.

I did clarify fairly quickly in the thread and sent out a PM to everyone who had already entered by that point, if you only read the first post and didn't read the discussion I apologize for not having gotten a mod to edit my first post.

Sigh, thought Ping was a good answer. Apparently they stopped making them in 1997.

Also, It appears that Top-Flite and Calloway are also jointly owned, from a cursory look at the Top Flite web site, so I think those two answers should be combined as well.

if usga list has them listed differently, then u can't combine them

that question blew for the people who got it wrong since they obviously would have known something if the wording wasn't so strange.

also tiger woods gold ball is pretty much the nuts so that should be worth 0.

I'm not combining any answers, I made the decision that the question was poorly written and I would accept different brands, so they will be seperate. Top Flite and Callaway are listed as having different manufacturers anyways by the USGA, fwiw.
