I won't argue too vehemently on this one, because the only thing I was going on was a gf who worked for the NGA a couple years ago telling me the Gallery just bought a Thomas Eakins painting for more than $60 million. But it certainly *was* sold.

Then, a foundation (I guess led by Wachovia Bank, from what I've found from a cursory online query) figured out a way to keep it in the city.

Whatever, I knew Rothko also, but thought I'd go for an off the wall one for this. I completely understand if it's disallowed, though I think it should count, even from an objective POV.

(btw, I have some really intereting (though not necessarily peritnent) info about the Spanish national flag from another ex gf)

Oh christ, seriously resisting google/wiki now. Please tell me Family Feud was a daytime (and not just a primetime) show at some point (if it were, and Dawson didn't win an Emmy for it, a crime was committed...)

No, you're still good with Cosby (though my answer for that may be questionable also). I was referring to the daytime Game Show host...

I had the same thought, Family Feud, but I thought Ray Combs instead of Richard Dawson. I shied away from him due to the death-factor and thought a lot of people would put him (if he's even right), so I put a safe answer.
