And what are your thoughts on what I've said a couple of times now about your villa games being very different in my eyes?

I'm not sure I agree, actually (at least for the way I prefer to approach things). I like being able to feel like I can clear people with some reasonable degree of confidence and start sorting everyone into buckets immediately. Most of us are villagers anyway, regardless of my level of paranoia in a given game.

It's because I feel off. Games have a rhythm, and this one, I don't have the feel of the rhythm yet. It all seems very awkward.

I'm pretty sure there have been games where you were getting heat where I defended you super hard and it helped break open the game quite a bit. figure out who's able to do that and see when they are or aren't doing it. you can make your reads then get better reads from doing so.

Variance:

For VR I thought a couple of her posts came from a villagery mindset. Names the one where she said it was hard to follow everything (or that she didnt like it, or something similar...Im not scrolling back) when there were so many inside jokes. It felt like someone genuinely annoyed by the fact that it's more difficult to read people when they are throwing inside jokes back and forth.

For OR, it's much thinner. I can't really explain it very well. Just a "tone read"

Hmm. I think we can just disagree on this and go on with our day, actually. It's not like I have any recent experience with wolf Swiitch anyway, so I'm basing my opinion on dim memories of him offering membership into a wolfhunting club with his first post in His Dark Materials and then sort of disappearing.

Like, I don't think it's leadership; I think it's being able to post free-flowingly. But that was then, and a little voice in the back of my head wants to make sure I don't just assume that he's still like that based on a sample size of one from ten months ago and an ample dollop of hearsay and reputation.

What part of "almost everyone" doesn't paint a sufficient picture for you? At least some of my suspects should be clear from my posts, anyway.

Sorry, I am trying to be "here" but at the same time multi-tasking wedding planning, doing push-ups/sit-ups, editing client images, and sending in an album. So ya, reads so far, nada. But I'm trying. My day at work tomorrow seems pretty chill. (Today my work day today consisted of cleaning a microwave and filling a water jug. I know right?) so I can actually make some notes from a desk rather then my laptop in the dark at home :P

Wolf VR goes after me. I can't remember the game, but I seem to remember it happening. Unless wolf VR sucked up to me? Hummm she probably did that too. Worst memory ever. argh.

I liked your posts up until the point you started to feel a little heat, but rather than responding confidently,(like I would expect a villager to react) you came off to me as scared.
I remember when Hoya started hard pushing me in an SE game, I was scared ****less, but I pushed back because I had a strong wolf read on him. It was the worst game I ever played, I sucked bad, (ended up claiming self voting and mailing in the end of the game) but I didn't want anyone to think I was scared.

my point wasn't that I'm better able to determine his role because I can spot him doing things that I do when I wolf. It's more that I can see what he's TRYING to do and know the kind of things I think he thinks he SHOULD do.

consider the fact that he basically said he was gonna lead the village

I know that he thinks he's a bomb villager and the reason he's a good villager is because he knows what's wolfy and what isn't. For him as a wolf to take on the role of village leader, he knows that in order for him to not bus his whole team, he'll need to gamble on villagers doing things that are legitimately wolfy, or he'll have to push ppl for things that he knows are actually villagery. It's either unlikely or difficult respectively. Therefore, the whole premise is unlikely

For those of you that don't know her, OrangeRake is always fluffy and flirty day 1 (it's one of my favorite qualities of hers!) but not so relentlessly so, except when she is wolfing.
