also given the clue is 'game' we should get game related words and not go game->poker->words so words like whale and rail are completely out for guessing this time. Words like face are also not very high

actually, 'game face' is a common expression, so it's stronger than just face cards, so I'd move face up

homer could easily be neutral; it shouldn't be assassin; I think all the words in our top 5 to guess are safe from assassin and likely neutral at worst

I like all 4 of those. I also like wake. More of a surfing term, which would make sense since all the other words you could get with a clue of skiing.

Not feeling great about a 6th. Maybe jeweler for Olympic medals? That's a serious reach, but I don't think we should pass before guessing 6. We might only get one more turn.

Is a hit some sort of snowboarding term? I vaguely remember it during the Olympic coverage, but not sure what it meant or if I’m even remembering correctly.
