Do you rand the piece and then rand the move, or is each move equally likely?

If the second then the queen will get a lot of action.

All legal moves have an equal chance... so (the second) yes... and if a pawn has a legal move to promote that is 4 separate legal moves.

I assume Kf8 is a clearance move to allow the Queen to help guard f7.

Now our f has took your e and you got no e. We got 2 es. That's a 2 to none e advantage. Forking clamp on both d5 and f5 ideas.

Black's pieces are rather silly.
