Kids are weird.. In 2nd grade, friend-1 told friend-2 that friend-2 was actually filipino. friend-2 cried and went to the teacher. friend-2 was in fact filipino, she just didn't know it until friend-1 told her. I remember that really clearly for some reason.. the teacher saying '...but you are filipino..'

My 5yo niece has a thing with dark skin. The other day she said when she was an egg in mummy's tummy, she prayed that she wouldn't be born brown. It was pretty ****ing funny, but obviously not the sort of thing you'd want her to say in front of the wrong people. Most people would probably think her parents are teaching her this stuff if they heard it, but she just comes up with it out of nowhere.
