I don't even have to give fake names at Starbucks since I've met approximately one person in five years in this continent who actually recognized my name properly when hearing it for the first time. (And to be fair, the one person who recognized it was half Russian so maybe that gave her an edge at distinguishing the sounds properly.)

i liked hanging out with all the internet poker guys and using internet names. it was better than normal names. normal names aren't diverse enough

Your judgement is fairly dubious regarding places to live imo so your criteria is probably off somewhere too
