i thought i was compensating for my HU hyper spew where bottom pair is a great hand. but now i think in some spots i wasn't as much as i should have been.

your post helped remind me. i'll be more aware of it from now on. especially in big pots.

I'm more tilted than I've ever been. I wish I had a huge online bankroll because I'd be spewing it all off right now.

Id be interested in seeing if I have run good or bad over the course of my "career."

I don't have a feel for it. It may be that I have run really well and am a huge douche who doesn't realize how good I run when I tell people, "if you're only getting it in good, you're not getting It in often enough."

Then I think about all the long nights and hours and weekends and weeks and months of being card dead and getting 1-outered.

But basically I'm glad I don't have a way of actually checking these things. Like id be more curious to know what my river call efficiency is or my red line or something. Running good/bad generally doesn't enter my thought process.

I do think there's an enormous amount of path dependency that goes into determining people's poker careers, but it's completely unverifiable and touches on so much more than just hitting draws.

I'm really curious about that run good/bad thing too. I think I don't always see it properly because it seems like there is always some guy at the table that seems to hit everything. And it also seems like there are fishes giving away money and I just sit there.

I think all in all I'm running OK but I certainly have never had a real rungood session.

ho hum night. i made 1700. i tilted the **** out of a guy when i shoved all in for like 1900 on a board of KhQh7xJhAh. he folded AQ, then i showed him my pocket 5s lol

i was about to kill myself though because i started off the session trying to steal a pot from the straddle with 8h6h. flop was A66r, and some idiot got runner runner flush with Q9. jesus. i was sure i was gonna have my 4th losing session in a row.

once again though, i made all my money short handed, and lost money at a full table.

I was having a solid session until this happens.

LAG big stack opens for $20, SB 3-bets to $65, I have AA in BB and flat, LAG folds.

Flop KJ4dd (I have Ad)
He bets $80 into $150, I just call

Turn: 5h
he checks, I bet $165, he calls

River: 8h
He jams $300
I think about it a second, totally puzzled, and call

he flips 76hh
