Can you download videos from DC or is it only streamed? Been thinking about joining a coaching site for a while but haven't got round to it. Don't think I'll have much time for watching them this week so would be cool if you could download them but I'm guessing you can't?

I think during their free days they only stream stuff. If you sign up you can download everything DRM-free

So optimal cheapskate strategy would be to download everything in a week and then cancel until you have watched them all.

You can download videos with a premium account and keep them forever.

Right now we are offering all our videos for free in streaming access through the 21st. Just sign into your basic account (which is free, and you can post on the forums, receive rakeback and listen to the podcast with a basic account every day.)

So I only have 3 more days to waste.
you know you can buy iron days in the iron man store, right? up to 4/month at 30 medals/day. if you have any decent streak of months or are moving from gold to iron, this is ez value

Did not know that and for the integrity of the bet I won't be.

oh, i didn't realize it was a bet. in that case, buying days would be horribly unethical. that said, for your own EV it would be ludicrous to not buy days. getting up a level each month is worth an extra $25 each time when the mid year and end of year iron man bonuses are distributed

um why can't you just buy those freedays and then discount them from the bet if you fall short otherwise?

Good point.

If I do buy a day I will discount it from the bet.

why would you buy a day unless you've already lost the bet anyway?

wow just played the biggest maniac I've ever played yet. 3betting 50%, never folding to a 3bet or a 4bet. So I turned off the bluff button on my 3bets and 4bets and he never adjusted. It was fun 4-betting to 40bbs with queens knowing I'd get called with his entire range.

(quite literally he 3bet called a 40bb 4bet with 63off one hand)

I had to move down recently but this guy has helped soften the blow

The one time he folded to a 4bet it was to $25 so I was trying to find the highest amount where I could 4bet without him folding (since they were all value ldo)

played in my first live tourney at the Borg last night. $100 + $20. Managed to mincash (and bubble the next jump) when my JJ aipf EP managed to lose to sbs A7o. Was probably third in chips at the table with ~170,000 with blinds at 8k/16k with a 3k ante.

Noticed blinds and antes get ridiculously high incredibly quickly, but I think the $2+.20 turbos on stars have more talented players. It was fun.

Anyone got any recommendations for good DC videos to start on? All the videos seem to get 5*s on their website which isn't exactly helpful. Am a 50NL-100NL 6max NLHE player.

Considering how crazy he was pre-flop, he was weirdly fit-or-fold to the extreme on the turn and river so I actually was floating and bluffing later streets pretty frequently. Which made me wanna fold the J7 hand... I think I would've if I was playing my A game.

honestly he's 3-betting and betting any Ax the exact same way so the fact that he had a premium hand is just random. Such a crazy spot, he is only repping quads but quads is actually most of his range I think, haha.

Been playing a few $1-$3 Omaha tournaments to learn the very basics before giving some cash games a try. Was pretty card dead and was flopping even worse in a 112 man $1 tournament but the play was so hilariously bad that I just mincashed it before the first break and without winning a single pot.

I started searching this myself, because I thought I might move to NLHE for a while

well anyway I found some recommendations in this thread:

http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/...-for-NLHE-6-ma

Quote:
watch moneytrain to midstakesville and coaching kristy, both very new and fantastic NLHE 6max series
Quote:
one of the best series ive watched on this site is Pr1nnyraiding, and while it is geared for HU, its perfect for 6max too because all the player types you face when you are headsup in 6max will still be generally the same as when you are playing HU, so take advantage of that series, also balugawhale Coaching Kristy as well as from busto to robusto
and here's complete guide, but it's updated a year ago, but worth checking out probably
