You are the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). You are an Imperialist. Ostensibly a non-government private corporation, you are in fact a CIA front established by Ronald Reagan. You use your name and mission to “promote democracy” as a pretense to infiltrate, disrupt, and influence the governance of other countries with the goal of directing it toward Western business interest. This includes funding so-called anti-government protests, training anti-government nationals in “grass-roots” organizing and insurgency, and promoting media and spreading propaganda against leaders and administrations at odds with imperialist goals.

Occupation

You are an Outside Agitator. Each night beginning n1, as a night action, you may choose to do any two of the following:

If there was more than a 3 vote difference between 1st and 2nd place in the Presidential election, you may pay $30 to reduce the Democratic People's Republic of POG by 5%. This amount is reduced by $5 for each vote more than 4 to a minimum of $5. This is made public in the thread with the following announcement:

You may spend $10 and target a player currently in the living player list and also provide a guess as to their occupation (Military, Surveillance, Counterintelligence, Farmer, Doctor, etc). If you are correct, the Democratic People's Republic of POG's international support is reduced by 5%. You may use this ability up to two times, paying for it each time, if you choose this action. This ability can only be used once per player per game, and may not be used on anyone whom the wolf team has successfully peeked.
If the “Protests” policy has been passed, you may pay $15 to extend the duration of the “Protests” effect by 1 night. You must use this action on a night while “Protests” is still in effect. Each time you use this action, its price increases by $15.

Space Race

The two sides both worked hard to put the first person on the moon. Well...actually that is not true. The DPRoPOG sort of half-assed it. They managed to have a few conferences about it. A few internal committee discussions. But that is it. In the end they only spent $15. The Imperialists, however, went all out. Perhaps not because it was easy, but because it was hard. They spent $230 and put the first person on the moon, thus winning the third leg of the space race!

But there is no looking back. Just as soon as that accomplishment had run its course, the two sides were determined to be the first to put a space station in orbit. Both sides will eventually accomplish this feet and increase their income. But the first to do it will see the most benefit.

Whichever side wins the fourth leg of the space race increases their income by $2 PER living player PER day. The losing side increases their income by $1 PER living player PER day.

Is our budget still $228 even though a player died during the day?

ANSWER

Yes. The amount of income both groups (DPRoPOG and Imperialists) have to spend in a given cycle is calculated at the same time at the beginning of the day and does not change regardless of day-time kills or the execution.

QUESTION

ANSWER

If there are three or more farmers currently alive, "Respecialization" will retrain THREE farmers into other occupations. If there are less than three farmers currently alive, "Respecialization" will train all currently alive farmers into other occupations (zero, 1, or 2).

The village will be notified of how these retrainings occur at SOD after "Respecialization" is passed (that is how many and what type of profession farmers have been retrained into).
