QUESTION

Quote:
what is the point of industrialization if food is already free?
ANSWER

While collectivization does make the training of farmers and the funding of farmers (making and distributing food) free, you still NEED the farmers to be able to do this. That is, if you had 1 farmer but 100 people, even with collectivization they can only make 16 loaves of bread (or 8, in the case of a famine). Even with collectivization, if farmers get role blocked, or you don't have enough farmers, etc, the DPRoPOG could go hungry. Once industrialization happens, food is produce infinitely without the need of any farmers. Industrialization also frees up these farmers to be trained to do other, more useful endeavors (Respecialization).

i mean there's a world where industrialization -> respecialization makes sense right now

ideal path was probably nationalization -> collectivization -> industrialization -> respecialization

everything got ****ed by the need to go for nukes

Somewhere in there we wouldn’t have known about their nuclear plan, which we only knew because of FYP l. But yeah

Having iso'ed Globe, I can definitely get on board with a firing squad or a trip to Pogberia for him.

I just wish it didn't mean we had to wait on Wiggles.

I'm starting to rethink Communism. At least in Capitalist society we'd have a chance at a buy-one-get-one-free special on the executions.

Or a giant final close-out Every Wolf Must Go.

There has been 1 seer killed (donk), and 1 watcher (shoreline.) I think we can assume we started with 3 based on the role profiles for Cannon Fodder/Monte

We've lost 1 non-role person (AMI) and one person we trained as a doctor (JM) who started without a role.

So what we know is that we've probably got 2 farmers, 2 military, 1 counter-intelligence, 1 surveillance left. Everyone else has no roles? How many villagers we got left?
We have:
- 2 farmers
- 1 counter-intelligence
- 2 military
- 1 doctor I think?
- 1 surveillance?

I think we should have at least 2 surveillance including a seer left, because only one rarely-funded seer in a game this size is lol.

Your only thing on me is that I'm a lost wolf.

That's terrible. You were there when me and someone thought there were no lost Wolves in the game based on mod posting.

Even if I am a lost wolf that means there's no spew since I wouldn't know who my teammates are.

Clearly there's like 8 better options.

Benefits of respecialization faster:
- If we lose any more of our trained roles, we lose all flexibility. But when we get all our new roles, we might not be able to use the actions as we lack money

Benefits of nationalisation faster:
- We can spend more money today. We can spend more money than the wolves every day (give or take). Downside, is we might lose the roles to do things with.

(I elaborated a bit yesterday, but she seems barely interested in finding wolves or clearing villas or what the village is or isn't doing; very different from what i'm used to from her as a villager)

Having said that wrt Wiggles, it does bother me quite a bit he seems to just show up when he's the talk of the town, post a little and then fade out. Even though low impact Wiggles isn't necessarily AI, he usually plays to win, but he's not really making reads, he's just posting.
